Hi, I’m Peggy Staver.

As a content marketer, I combine creative, customer-focused storytelling with my research and analytical skills. The words I use are carefully selected to match your voice and branding — producing copy that draws the reader into your story and makes the connection between them and your business.

Prior to becoming a freelance content writer, I spent 15 years writing technical documents and customer-focused letters for the financial services industry.

I worked closely with business users requesting changes to their software applications. The process of reviewing what was happening now and what they wanted to happen involved asking a lot of questions to determine the Why behind their request.

After gathering the requirements, I wrote the specs – a document that clearly stated their changes in a way that the user and programmer would understand. This is the same process I take when starting a new client project.

I have a BA in Communication Studies and have been writing most of my life. I am a member of the American Writers and Artists Institute and the Professional Writer’s Alliance. I am an AWAI Certified Case Study Specialist, Email Marketing Specialist, and UX Copywriting Specialist. I am also an experienced blogger who understands the importance of search-engine-optimized content.

My clients are small businesses, RV parks and resorts, and non-profits.

A Little More Personal

My husband is a travel nurse, and we move from job to job in our Class A motorhome. I love making contacts and friends wherever we go.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, bike riding, and kayaking. My favorite football team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
